The round table “Innovative trends in railway construction" will be held on 7 December 2010 as part of the VIII International Conference “Transport Services Market: Cooperation and Partnership”. The round table is sponsored by RZDstroy.

Gennady Talashkin, First Deputy Director General of RZDstroy, will act as moderator of the round table meeting.

The participants will discuss the comprehensive deployment of new equipment and technology, ways for reducing construction costs using pioneering solutions, and high-speed motorway design. Other issues include the effective implementation of breakthrough design solutions based on innovative technology, deployment of innovations for using unmanned technology in maintaining track superstructures, use of innovative materials in the construction of high-speed motorways, comprehensive reconstruction of railway infrastructure on the Black Sea coast, and a programme for modernising and reconstructing railway stations.
