Vladimir Yakunin sends letter of support to the XV International Conference “Information Technologiesfor Rail Transport”

In his message Vladimir Yakunin, President of Russian Railways, notes that one of the key elements in the work being done to restructure rail transport, increase the levels of freight traffic and improve the quality and safety of passenger transport is the application of modern information technologies and communications systems and resources.

The President of RZD says that the “Information Technologies for Rail Transport” conference has become a traditional meeting place for Russian and foreign IT specialists. It assesses the results of the year’s work, ensures an exchange of opinions on the most relevant issues, and maps out current and longer-term plans.

Vladimir Yakuninwishes the participants and guests of the event new inspiring ideas, interesting discussions and further success.

The XV International Conference and the “Infotrans 2010” exhibition will be held from 26 to 29 October 2010 in Saint Petersburg. The event is organized by Business Dialogue with support from the CNews agency. The general partner is Russian Railways.
