The main stages of the competition:

15.02.2010 - 15.03.2010 - Registration of applications.
15 - March 31, 2010 - Voting members of the Expert Council. Finalizing shortlist of nominees.
01 - April 15, 2010 - Voting members of the Board of Trustees. Selection of winners.
May 27, 2010 - Award Ceremony.

The right to nominate the candidates for the award have leaders of Russian and foreign transport organizations, research institutes and design bureaus, ministries, agencies and departments of the transport industry, Nobel Prize laureates, Laureates of Lenin Prize, Laureates of USSR State Prize in Science and Technology, Laureates of the State Prize of Russia Federation in the field of science and technology, Laureates of the State Prize of Russia in the field of science and technology, active member of the Russia Academy of Sciences and members of the Academy of Sciences of other countries, Motion Formula Laureates. In some cases it's possible that a candidate can submit an application form and other documents by himself. Registration of Applications is free of charge.
