On behalf of the Association of Russian Freight Forwarders I welcome the organisers, participants and guests of the 14th Moscow International Exhibition and Conference “TransRussia 2009”.
Annual exhibition and conference “TransRussia” have recently become a good tradition indicating that the transport and freight forwarding play a key role in the Russian economy.
TransRussia 2009 exhibition and conference widely present achievements of freight forwarding business in Russia, development of cooperation between state and private entities of the railway, marine, river, automobile, commercial and other types of transport on the basis of logistic technologies.
Container transport and logistic technologies play a special role in the development of transport and freight forwarding services in Russia and worldwide and are widely covered in the materials of the conference and the exhibition.
Russia possesses vast opportunities for the development of container transport market and freight forwarding. New methods and procedures of container shipment displayed at the exhibition are aimed at the introduction of such opportunities into practical operations.
It is important to improve the system of transport tariffs, develop new legislative, regulatory and legal documents in compliance with the implemented reforms.
