 The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan expresses official support to the II International Regional Railway Business Forum «1520 Strategic Partnership: Central Asia».
The railway transport is traditionally the basis of the transport infrastructure not only in Kazakhstan but in many other countries of the world, and its development is the major factor of the economic growth and increase of competitiveness of every country at the world level.
In connection with the increased requirements to the infrastructure and quality of the transport service it is impossible to overestimate the importance of the meaningful dialogue between all partners of the "broad gage" aimed at the identification of ways and mechanisms of the effective development of the railway transportation in the Central-Asian Region.
The experience of holding the previous Forum «I520 Strategic Partnership: Central Asia» two years ago in the city of Almaty has demonstrated an obvious advantage of such dialogue for all the interested parties - states, transport companies, manufacturers of the railway engineering, investors and cargo owners.
I am confident that the second forthcoming Central-Asian Forum «1520 Strategic Partnership» will be held at the highest possible level and will allow determining the future steps on the way of perfecting the railway complex in the Region.
