On behalf of the Federal Rail Transport Agency we greet the participants of the VI International Conference «The JSC RZD on the transport service market: cooperation and partnership» that is organized under the auspices of the JSC Russian Railways.
Service quality improvement, reduction of transportation costs in economy, strengthening of competitive ability of the Russian railways on the world transport market is impossible without considerable financial investments into infrastructure and modernization of the technical equipment.
The main objective of the railway reform is creating conditions for inflow of investments. Involvement of the private companies into the investment infrastructure projects and transportation services is the first priority for the moment. It can be solved only with participation of the wide range of experts.
In this connection I consider that holding of this event is well-timed and important.
