Increase of competitiveness of the Baltic region rail routes within Euro-Asian transportation system.

Today the Baltic region demonstrates high rate economic growth. Globalization of the international trade, increase of freight transportation and integration of the Baltic States into the European Union makes the Baltic Sea region an important transit point, a key area in Euro-Asia economic cooperation that is why it is hart to overestimate the Baltic region potential in terms of “East-West” and “North-South” transit corridors development.
