Global Railway Innovation Award “Motion Formula”

Innovation is a powerful drive for the modern economy development. In the 21st century only those industries and companies can seek leadership, which are capable of on-going development and introduction of innovations. 
The consolidation of business and the scientific community is essential in order to stimulate the innovative activity.
In the pursue of this task, at the initiative of the largest transport companies, the Global Railway Innovation Award Motion Formula has been established.

Why «Motion Formula»?
Motion – is an on-going development process. Innovation in the modern world is a pledge of progress, moving forward.

The Award is intended to encourage engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs to create breakthrough projects, the development and introduction of new techniques and technologies that provide increased rail efficiency and enhancing its role and importance in society.
The first significant public Award Motion Formula is given to outstanding scientific research, that contribute to the progressive development of the industry,  to improve the efficiency of rail transport and to enhance its role and importance in society.
Award will determine the intellectual leaders of the industry, to draw attention of the general public and the media for modern innovation.

Award are presented to winners in following nominations:

• For the scientific research and the conceptual development in the fields of engineering, technology and the organization of technological process in the sphere of rail transport
• For the innovations implemented into a technological process, which have proved their efficiency and made a significant contribution to the development of rail industry
• For the contribution to the implementation of the innovation project, dramatically increase efficiency and quality of rail transport
