International conference "Railway Engineering: A Springboard to a Closer Partnership between 1520 & 1435" held in Berlin during the international transport and logistics exhibition «InnoTrans 2012."

The forum will address issues of practical cooperation between Russian and European companies in the field of railway engineering, harmonization of technical standards "1520 and 1435", to improve the quality of railway vehicles. Considerable attention will be paid to the problems of venture capital funding for projects relating to the production of traction and rolling stock, and reduce the amount of their funding from the state.

The conference is held under the patronage of the Russian Ministry of Transport and with the support of "Russian Railways".

Participants of the conference the heads of transport departments of Russia and Germany, international organizations, industry associations and unions, heads of major Russian and foreign companies in the field of transport engineering, head of international venture capital funds.
